Spurs working on Re-signing Forbes

Shams Charania is reporting that restricted free agent Bryn Forbes is finalizing a two-year deal to return to San Antonio.

Forbes played relatively well for the Spurs last season. He appeared in 80 games (including 12 starts) and averaged 6.9 points, 1.4 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.1 treys in 19.0 minutes per contest, while shooting 42.1 percent from the floor and 39.0 percent from downtown. With Tony Parker leaving the Spurs, Forbes may see 20-plus minutes a night next season.

----

I can't say that I am a fan, but I guess he fills a spot on the bench.

Wtf. He crumbled under pressure in playoffs and that 4 point play and turnover come to mind when he shrugged his shoulders and clearly looked overwhelmed by the moment. He and mills are redundant and am praying that a move with Mills is underway considering his price tag

Bryn is probably a very nice guy. But he simply doesn't have the strength, speed or athleticism to guard anyone in the NBA. He always puts out his best effort, but he consistently gets burned...

We are going to be a team of all guards. I understand the league is going "small" but this is more bigs are getting smaller. Your small players pg/sg are tending to get bigger.
