NBA Waiver Wire – 2017-2018 Season

Do any of these players interest anyone? I know they are discards from other teams and why would we be interested --- I understand that argument. The only one from this list that got my attention was Anthony Morrow, only because he’s a deadly 3-point shooter. But he probably couldn’t play defense or has some other baggage.

Isaiah Briscoe, Archie Goodwin, Anthony Morrow Waived By Blazers
Cavaliers Waive Kendrick Perkins
Kay Felder, Richard Jefferson Waived By Hawks
Wizards Waive Donald Sloan
Wolves Waive Amile Jefferson, Melo Trimble, Shawne Williams
76ers Waive James Blackmon Jr., Kris Humphries, Emeka Okafor
Pelicans Waive Cliff Alexander, Perry Jones
Bucks Waive Gerald Green
Pistons Waive Beno Udrih

I am surprised Perry Jones never materialized. Briscoe is an interesting prospect, but we don't need anymore point guards.

Some interesting names in this group, however I am afraid they are all out of gas.

It doesn't matter because our roster is full.

Tiago Splitter recently visited the Lakers, Hawks, Warriors, Spurs. If he retires, he says he'll likely coach.

Yes, but still think they're one big man short.

Agreed, the Spurs do need another big (IMO), but who do you waive? Forbes? Hilliard and Costello are on that new 2-way contract. We got some nice pieces in place and Splitter has been a bench warmer for a couple years due to reoccurring injuries. I've always liked Tiago because he filled the need for a big who could bang and pick up some garbage points. He was never going to be a world shaker and I think he can see retirement on the immediate horizon. If we see Tiago I think it'll be as an assistant coach or an occasional gym rat/coach like along with TD.

You guys are hilarious.

We aren't waving anyone. We don't need another big. Our roster is set unless someone gets hurt.
