San Antonio Spurs: NBA elite players jealous of Kawhi Leonard

Brian Windhorst of ESPN, recently suggested NBA’s elite aren’t happy with all the praise Kawhi Leonard is receiving. Here’s what was said.

During a Podcast of Truehoop, Brian Windhorst implied that there are players who are jealous of Kawhi Leonard. The panel on the show were talking about their picks for the All-Star game and singing their praises of Leonard when Windhorst interjected. Brian Windhorst said, “Not everybody in the NBA feels the same way about Kawhi as you do.” Windhorst continued, “There are some people who are frustrated Kawhi has gotten as much love as he has.” Windhorst went on to name a player by saying, “It’s not just LeBron James actually. There’s other top players who feel the same way.” If what Brian Windhorst said is true, it should come as no surprise to fans. Anytime any person has success there are going to be people that resent that success and are jealous.

In his sixth season, Kawhi Leonard has achieved many accolades. He is a NBA Champion and a Finals MVP, and this year he is going to be a starter for the Western All- Stars that is taking place in New Orleans.

Kawhi Leonard has a reputation as a hard worker. He has improved his game every year and is sure to be even better next year. In both offense and defense, Leonard gives more than 110 percent. In a league full of boasters, Leonard lets his game do all the talking. Leonard deserves the attention he is getting and no one can take that away from him.
—------------------

Hey LeBron and co. Maybe if you just shut your mouth and plan the game, you will get more love and less hate.. Kawhi is 100%" about the game.. All these other jokers are about their image, stats, ego...

Kawhi came to the NBA a shy kid who happened to be a gym rat. Whatever success and accolades Leonard has received has been primarily due to his hard work and endless hours in the gym and with assistant coaches to fine tune his craft. If those who are jealous of Leonard would put in half the time and effort instead of running their mouths and looking for commercial endorsements, they might get the attention that Leonard has received. And if asked about all this attention he has received, Kawhi would probably blow if off and point to his teammates as contributing to any success he has enjoyed and that he’d rather be left alone so he could get some work in at the gym.

Kawhi reminds me of old school legends, not the new school millennials...after shots they like to dance, throw up hand signs after they do something their paid to do, dance on the side line. You ever see Jordan, Duncan, Robinson, Magic, Kobe, Bird, Stockton, Hakeem and so forth do that....HELL NO!

They go about their business to destroy you and the constantly work on their game to prove people wrong on the court by their hard work and determination. There are so many snowflakes in the league it's sickening! Maybe the the NBA should have their own version of Dancing with the Stars! Then at least some of these guys could actually win something.
