I think Phoenix is sitting out while the Spurs play Miami.

Its difficult to tell what the Spurs are doing. The information sites are pretty much devoid of recent Spurs news. Splitter still has a calf injury, Kawhi still has pink eye and Manu has a sore Achilles so I don't expect them to suit up. It wouldn't surprise me if Parker gets the night off after playing in Phoenix Thursday. I expect Pop to play the questionables and wannabees over the next 2 games to see who is worthy of a locker with their name on it for the upcoming season.

Spurs lost tonight to Miami in overtime. Starting lineup was TD, Joseph, Bonner, Green and Kyle Anderson. Parker didn’t play and Leonard, Splitter and Mills continued their recuperation from their injuries/surgery. Mills and Splitter sat behind the bench and had a nice applause accorded them when their mugs were shown on the overhead teleprompter. When I first saw Splitter in civies I spoke out loud asking myself who that was. I don’t know if it was just him being in civies but that dude looked awful thin to me. And I had mistaken Diaw for a slimmed down Dejuan Blair – Diaw looked really thinned down. But as for the game, the Spurs shot fairly well but I still say you aren’t going to win many games with 28 turnovers. That was the name of that tune. Thank God it’s only preseason. As for the Heat, their main players didn’t either show or didn’t play, ie, Wade, Bosh, Deng, Andersen, McRoberts. We still have a long way to go folks.

Oh, while I was paying nature a call at halftime, I believe I heard some highlights of the Flor St/Notre Dame game and the commentators mentioned that DRob's son caught two TD passes in that game with DRob in attention. I'm sure 50 was a proud poppa tonight. Cool!!

CoJo was solid. Daye missed too many open jumpers. JGreen hustled well but ran out of steam. Anderson looked good (and didn't look too slow). cotton couldn't buy a bucket. Manu--well we will say it was preseason.

haha I knew that just typo. I won money on the PHX game knowing the Spurs were resting lots of people and was hoping to do the same against Miami but MYSA or Spursreport had no info on who was expected to play.
