What the Spurs and Celtics might have in common.....

In 2008,the Celtics beat up the Lakers & 2014 the Spurs destroyed the Heat... Which caused the Lakers to break up. Will our Spurs do the same? Damn I hope so... What a payback, a butt kicking and dismantling.

When I think of what the Spurs and Celtics have in common, its always one specific thing. Both teams were unique and the only dominant teams that I can recall, that built their reputation on team play in an intelligent fashion without the super stars that dazzle most fans with their athletic feats and drama during their zeniths. That era for the Celtics ended when Larry Byrd declined physically with a bad back (but began long before Byrd in the Bill Russell era) but has been reborn in the Greg Popovich Spurs.

I think so to, if you really want to be somewhere, there should be no issues and you just resign and do it. Duncan, Dirk just got right to it. Lebron is so spoiled cause he knows if he doesn't have help, he doesn't have a shot. So he wants max money, which he deserves but with guys like Wade and Bosh aren't going to take payouts like Manu, Duncan and Dirk. Those two think they're really worth 20 million... NOT! So it's not going to work for the Heat unless the other two bow down.

Lebron is like Phil Jackson, he needs the best in order to produce championships, and even now Bosh is garbage, worth about 8 million and Wade with his health issues probably that same or 10 million and that's a stretch. There is nothing left for the Heat to get unless they unload Bosh for Love and get Gasol and Jameer Nelson or Deng. But I don't see it. LJ should go to Phoenix or Houston. I wouldn't like to see it but that's what would be best for him. But I'd rather be struggle in Miami.

the other day i was thinking , 2014 SA spurs team reminds me celtics when they got the ring... "aging" big 3 and rajon rondo emergence as "glue guy" star (obviously not as deep as our spurs)

spurs with big 3 and kawhi emergin as legit "big 4" doing the little stuff in both sides of the court...
