Reaction to Tim's near knee injury

Manu Ginobili, who has seen Duncan in a heap on the court many times since joining the Spurs for the 2002-03 season, was almost as nervous as Mills. “We all got a little worried,” he said. “We looked at each other, like, 'Ouch!' especially when he grabbed his knee and went to the locker room. “Luckily, five minutes later he was back with us and asked to be back in. We all felt a relief.” Duncan was plenty worried himself when the knee bent at what he called a weird angle. “Very scary,” he said. “The pain wasn't that bad, but it felt kind of weird. Just wanted to make sure everything was fine.”

That was definitely scary. He's had a blown knee before, so I'm sure it freaked him out a little.

I almost threw up. My wife was talking to me about something, I literally didn't hear a word she said. I was so concerned for td... Not even for the season... I was worried about theppossibility of him calling it quits if it was like a shredding of all his ligaments... I didn't even careiif we won or loss after he came back... Him on the floor again was a win in itself.

The article said trainer did a 'quick' checkup and Duncan was back on the floor. I hoping the Spurs side with caution and give him a more thorough exam/x-rays to avoid any surprises. TD did say it was sore after the game. That's the over protective fan in me I guess.

Yes, it's not like he's super explosive...2 knee braces ala college football lineman. Hell, Blair came down wrong on him and Joseph. Plus that loose ball scrum on the fast break. We need him to squeeze every bit of Hall of Fame juice out of that body. And you need to be in great shape for when you do retire to enjoy activities with your kids....2 BRACES TIMMY.....TWOOOOOO!
