DeJuan Blair sucks I just wanted to point out how much DeJuan Blair sucks. Minutes by month: October 21 November 20 December 19 January 17 February 12 Last 10 games 10 I am so glad he signed with Dallas. To bad it was only a 1 year contract. I would love for them to have tied him up for several years. I a writing this in the middle of the Mav's game. I don't even care what he does tonight . . . dude sucks. :) |
:laugh |
Had some good contributions for us, we just replaced him with better players. Give the man his due. I wish him well. |

I feel for the guy because he is simply undersized. He's got really good skills and he has strong hands. I like his tenacity and agree that the spurs got all they could out of him. I do wish him well but he just is nowhere close to Diaw or Ayres. Go Spurs Go!!! |

I was really hoping Aryes could be our "enforcer" that we needed but it has yet to work out. BLAIR > Aryes.......yeah, I said it....lol<!-- END TEMPLATE: newpost_quote --> |

I'm pulling for him as much as any fan but he just has not worked out by any means. <!-- END TEMPLATE: newpost_quote --> |
Ohh no let be clear I am not an Ayres fan as such it pains me to watch him on offence sometimes, but his D is better than Blair could ever aspire to and again it is always said you can't teach length. When I think about what Blair did for us it was good for some regular season games and for some early round playoff but then his lack of height was shown up and he was not a viable option even for the bit of offence he could provide. There is a long way to go before Ayres starts, and will most likely not happen, but he is a cheap forward rotation option that actually can put a legit size body on the Grizz and Clipps and for us is > than what Blair provided. Side note as well if he is as good as Bonner on D then he is doing well.... Bonner has developed a strong defensive game, even in the post up situations. He did well against the Grizz last playoffs and while Splitter is obviously a better defender he is a good option off the bench. |
Jeff "Hands of Stone" Ayres!lol |

Ayers will never be a Lebron James, will never be above 14 or 15 on the depth chart, however I maintain he is an OVERALL upgrade over Blair. Our bottom feeders have improved over the last few years. |
