The Knicks will have two open spots when Metta World Peace and Beno Udrihís buyouts become official Monday.
Ike Diogu, a big man (who played briefly with the Spurs last season), is in the D-League with Bakersfield, averaging 16.2 points and 8.2 rebounds. He showed rebounding ability and a mid-range jumper for the Knicks during the preseason.
The Knicks could decide to sign a younger D-League player to develop for the future, but a veteran of intrigue is Danny Granger, should he be waived by the 76ers.
The Knicks also will have interest in proven veterans who were recently bought out, including Earl Clark, Ben Gordon and Antawn Jamison. Glen Davis has agreed to sign with the Clippers. Knicks may turn to Diogu | New York Post
