Danny Green out 4 weeks with a broken finger

Spurs guard Danny Green underwent an exam on Monday in San Antonio that included both an X-ray and an MRI on his left hand. Results revealed he has a nondisplaced fracture of his second metacarpal. Green suffered the injury in the first half of the Spurs-Timberwolves game on Sunday night. He is expected to miss approximately four weeks

If the Spurs were doing any covert deals that might have included Green, this injury might squash it.

See thats exactly what I anticipated people writing here on SR. I for one, hope that is in fact wrong. I wished to see a committed Danny Green to becoming a better offensive player who can dribble and create his own shot, but thats not happening this year. If we are to trade him and other assets, I hope they can at least match his defense. I do think hes replaceable with Manu and Marco owning the SG postion, but whose to say they both stay healthy the rest of the way. With Green's performance in the finals, his stock is still pretty high on most GM's minds. Might be best to trade him before the deadline.....
