All-Star point guard Tony Parker will miss road games at Phoenix (Wednesday) and Golden State (Thursday) with a right shin contusion, the Spurs announced Tuesday.
Parker, 31, will be re-evaluated when the team returns to San Antonio, at which point his status for Saturday’s home game against fellow Western Conference power Oklahoma City will be determined.
Parker was injured in the second half of Monday’s 115-92 loss at the Los Angeles Clippers. He appeared to suffer the injury in a collision with Suns forward Jared Dudley.
The Spurs are 1-0 this season and 12-5 over the past two without Parker. He is averaging 17.5 points and 6.1 assists in his 13th NBA season.
