Spurs’ Duncan among NBA’s wealthiest players

Spurs? Duncan among NBA?s wealthiest players - San Antonio Business Journal

W. Scott Bailey
Reporter/Project Coordinator- San Antonio Business Journal
San Antonio Spurs forward Tim Duncan is one of the most wealthy NBA players, according to Wealth-X.
The company, which has offices in the U.S. and abroad, ranks Duncan tied for fourth on its list, with a net worth of $100 million.
Lakers guard Kobe Bryant tops the list, with a net worth more than double Duncan’s at $220 million.
Wealth-X notes that Bryant, who earned nearly $28 million during the 2012-2013 NBA season, has supplemented that income with multimillion-dollar endorsement deals with a number of companies including Nike, Coca Cola and Mercedes-Benz.
Wealth-X provides its members with qualified prospects and intelligence on ultra-high net worth individuals. The company uses a proprietary valuation model to assess all asset holdings of an individual.
Here are the top five wealthiest NBA players, as ranked by Wealth-X:
1. Kobe Bryant (Lakers)/$220 million
2. Kevin Garnett (Celtics)/$190 million
3. LeBron James (Heat)/$130 million
4. Tim Duncan (Spurs)/$100 million
5. Ray Allen (Heat) $100 million

If I were Duncan I would totally change all my money into coins and then swim in it like Scrooge McDuck.
