BREAKING NEWS: Spurs/Timberwolves game has been suspended

BREAKING NEWS: Spurs/Timberwolves game has been suspended because of an electrical short in the stadium caused clouds of smoke to fill the stadium. More to come.

It doesn't sound like this game will happen tonight. Stuff like this usually requires a thorough investigation.

BREAKING: A fire in an elevator will delay the start of tonight's Spurs-Wolves game in Mexico City. According to RotoWorld, the arena has been evacuated and there is a power outage. It is unclear if the game will just being delayed or if they will have to postpone the game to another day. The teams have been put back on buses and fans have been evacuated.

Spurs are headed to the airport according to Mayor Julian Castro who is with the team. Don't know if their charter is ready to go or not.

I'm pretty sure Mexico is in America as is the USA and Canada and number of other countries.

Unfortunately, Mexico gets a bad rap because of the crappy border towns and the cartels. It is definitely not a third world country. But it is run by a bunch of idiots.

i was a click away from buy a ticket to this game... sad for those like me that in order to Watch game neeeed spent not only ticket, but travel to mexico city.

I feel your disappointment. I know you have been talking about going to this game for a while. It reminds me that I should feel even more fortunate that I get to see the games here in Texas.
