Spurs Are Deeper than Ever

The San Antonio Spurs are getting offensive production across their entire roster, and it is transforming the team.

Yeah, things are lookin' good. But it's November. Let's not get carried away...

Agreed. Its far too early to make that assessment. They haven't really played much against playoff teams at full strength that will challenge them both offensively and defensively. Not to mention, we don't know what teams will improve over the course of the regular season. About all you can say is that things appear to be coming together well so far.

But one good thing is that the Spurs always get better as the year goes on.

Flipmode Master 11-15-13 10:57 AM

True its early but...the personnel on the team won't change...the production may change but the roster is still one of the deepest.

Our bottom feeders are better than last years bottom feeders.

problem is... they shorten the rotation during playoffs and veteran core gets burned...

As Sean Elliott said the Spurs are beating who they were supposed to beat.
Let's hope the Spurs continue this Great Deep play with winning teams.
Consistency is the key!

Loving this current Spurs trend!

Go Spurs Go

Agreed. Depth is overrated. It can help during the regular season, but it doesn't guarantee a healthy and rested 7-8 man rotation for the playoffs.

True. There are no guarantees in life.
But it sure doesn't hurt. Especially in the rested part.

Nobody says you HAVE TO shorten the rotation during the playoffs. I trust Pop to go with what's working. But it is still Movember. :{)

<!-- END TEMPLATE: newpost_quote -->I agree on this here, but the fact it is only November and they are playing this good also can make you feel good! So I look at it both ways. Tim can do alot better and others can too, and they are 11-1. I hope they keep it up.
