Kind of like show up at practice, no physical activity, sit and talk to the media about his rehab progress and then hit the beach.

Meh.
I think the Spurs are better off without the guy. His whole career has been based on potential. I'd rather put a few eggs in a basket that hasn't had multiple microfracture surgeries. Roster spots with the Spurs' scouting dept mean something. Give me someone who hasn't already broken down a LOT.

If he turns out great, he's another free agent who didn't pick the Spurs. Nothing more, nothing less.
