Exciting basketball, boring offseason !

The Spurs need to evolve their offseason like they did their offense. I don't know about the rest of you, but the signings and re-signings just haven't grabbed me yet. Marco looks like Manus kickstand, Pendegrapgh looks like a up and down D leaguer. Didn't address our glaring holes and needs. Just seems like they're going to ride out these 2 year contacts and hope for the best. MG money still seemed a bit too much, but just hoping for a trade or something... But I won't hold my breath.

meh, were the holes in the Spurs really that "glaring"???? The Spurs came within one rebound from winning the Championship against one of the greatest regular season teams of all time. I'm not too worried, I like the Marco signing and I would love to get one more big but the Spurs could have done a lot worse....just my 2 cents

I don't want to hear any more criticisms of the Spurs' offseason unless they're accompanied by what they should have done differently. What should the Spurs have done differently this offseason? Bring in AK? That was outside our control. What else?

You forget they had HOWARD right there and if not him Josh Smith! Then it was Ellis as a backup SG!

Did they resolve the pg back up problem ? Or we just going to go with the d-league guy as our back up, or better yet, the leading towel waver. Maybe that third guy that lost his spot to Cory. It's all fine and dandy till the playoffs. Let's just continue to burn Tony out. Keep trusting Manu or Neal to point guard duties. Sf duties will be Diaw pending on match ups, Green and Marco. 4 point guards, and Manu still controls the offense with any of those other guys in. Leonard is young, he can handle it, but Tony is our last big chip once the others retire. I just like to see them take care of TP.

The d-league guy is still here. James Anderson is not. Its a long process and not a quick fix like a summer acquisition but I can see Cory getting true back up minutes over the course of the 82 games before the playoffs.

Like I said, what would you have done differently? I'm not saying we resolved our problems. I'm saying that I haven't seen anyone propose any feasible things we could have done differently.
