I'll never understand why anyone here wanted Ellis. First of all he's going to command a deal upwards of $10 million a year. Secondly he has NEVER made any teammates or team better.

Just not a Spurs player at all. I admit he can score, but he's terribly inefficient at it.

How much food is he feeding them? Gave up 10 million just to get out of Milwaukee.

I'm not sure the question is as much about the quantity of food as it is the amount of kids.

I don't think he will get 10 Million a year....

More like MLE money or something along the lines of a Ginobili deal....

Sorry. that was a latrell reference. I guess he will get a deal around 4 year/$28 mil. Fans many times get the idea that a player should scratch the money and just play for a ring. But he has to do what is in his best interest.

I'll be shocked if he gets less than JJ Reddick. But if teams with cap space start drying up, he may not have a choice. His ego is in for a big surprise.

He should sign a 1 year contract with a loser team like Bobcats for lets say 8M and test the free-agency next year. Next year the free-agency won't be too crowded.

He reportedly turned down 3 year $36 mil from the bucks because he wanted a 4 year $40 mil,,,,,this doesnt make sense in my book. He sure is in a big surpise

Yep, should of kept his 10 million guarantee for the last year than tried his luck next year. Less crowded with undersized 2 guards. Not bright enough to be a Spur in my opinion.

I remember when Jax did that with ATL.

And then this:

Monta Ellis - G - Bucks

Monta Ellis has parted ways with his agent, Jeff Fried, according to ESPN's Chris Broussard.

Bwahahaha. What an idiot.
