Not in the sense of a stretch four. In the sense we have someone else who can contribute absolutely nothing to a title run. Good teammate, fans will pull for him, and will help in 1 or 2 regular season games. But at a much lower price. And, hopefully allows us to unload an expiring contract, in conjunction with other parts, to acquire a big that can contribute.

Not s Bonner replacement in the sense of a stretch four. But in the sense of a nice teammate to have, that will contribute almost nothing to a title team. Maybe have a positive effect on a few regular season games, in the middle of the grind. Fans will love him, just as some did for Bonner, as they live the underdog. Hopefully, it frees up Bomner and his expiring contract, coupled with Diaw's expiring, or other parts, to obtain someone else to contribute. Whether a big, or a back up pg. Although, I think we will see a big leap from Nando and Joeseph this year. Don't like going into the season with Duncan, Tiago, and Baynes/Diaw/ Bonner. That, is a major drop off quickly.

The Spurs have a Bench and really want him for this team. He seems a solid rebounder.

That's fine to fill out the roster...but the rumor is we split the MLE on Pend & Marco...

If that's the case I don't like this signing at all...
