Evidently, we are interested in Korver now

The Spurs are apparently in pursuit of free agent sharpshooter Kyle Korver, according to ESPN.com’s Marc Stein.

A source told Stein that a number of teams are “going hard” after Korver. Milwaukee is reportedly offering a deal in the range of three years for $20 million.

It is not immediately apparent how much, if any, funds the Spurs will have left after agreeing to extensions with Tiago Splitter and Manu Ginobili. Splitter agreed to a four-year, $36-million deal on Tuesday, while Ginobili announced via Twitter that he will return for two more seasons with the Spurs. Financial details are not yet available.

Korver, 32, made $5 million last season with Atlanta while finishing second in the NBA in 3-point accuracy at 45.7 percent. His career percentage of 41.9 is 12th-best in NBA history.
Korver boasts a career scoring average of 9.6 points per game, usually coming off the bench.

I guess the comments by the Nets as having Korver 'in the bag' aren't as solid as previously reported by the media.

I think this is misdirection and leverage to get Neal back on board at a reasonable price.

Screw Korver and take any of the other two if possible. Trade green and bonner and do sign and trade involving neal
