Spurs Next Big 3

Looking ahead to next season and a little beyond

I see the Big 3 being Tony, Kawhi and ?

Tim will be limited next season - still capable but not if he has to play 40 minutes a game in the playoffs.

Manu is for the most part done. Since he never took the proper amount of time to recover from his injuries over the past few years, he just needs to retire.

Tiago? Not to me, he didn't show a whole lot of toughness, he's greatly improved over the past couple of years, but he's outplayed by more athletic bigs and sometimes he just seems lost.

Green? Possible, but only if he works on his game and adds dribble penetration and the ability to create a shot.

Neal? Not unless he becomes a much, much better ball handler.

So who's next or who would folks like to see in that role?

Maybe Al Jefferson?

I am tempted to go after Josh Smith or Dwight Howard, but it is really tough to make that call considering how the spurs have forged their identity on being a team that does not make mistakes and plays with focus, not either of those guys strong suits.
