Should the Spurs rest against LA and try to take the GS Game?

If they do that then LA would be in better position to keep the number 8 seed and personally i would rather have OKC have to play against them than Utah. Also if the spurs beat GS on monday and houston wins out then I would much rather open up against GS than houston imo.

Thoughts?

If Kobe is out, help them get the 7 seed, and have OKC play Harden and Co.

Sly and devious..........nice. But I don't think Pop can rest the entire team. I'll look the other way.

I've been trying to tell these Laker-loser fans, you can't just keep playing 40 plus minutes and get away with it for long.... Time and age will catch up with you soon enough.

I find it gratifying that I don’t see any Spurs names on these lists. (Well, 1st page at least). I wonder if any of the playoff eligible shown here will hit the wall and suffer a burn out in the playoffs. You just know they will play more minutes as they go from game to game.

Tony and Tim are on page two - Tony at 53 Tim at 78 - And to think the Spurs were able to run up the record they have without having to play their starters a ton of minutes. That does speak well for the overall depth of the team.

Would the fact that Houston is a 1/2 hour flight make them ultimately an easier opponent?

I mean, I live in Sacramento. Sacramento to San Antonio is a day of travel.

Either the Lakers get swept in the first round by OKC or SA, or Utah gets in and gets at least one game in the first round.

Thats kinda what I was thinking at this point with no more Kobe to close out at least one of the home games.
