Stephen Jackson: Stay Classy San Antonio
Stephen Jackson and Matt Bonner had an 'Anchorman' birthday party
When Stephen Jackson and Matt Bonner were planning their joint birthday party, it can't have been easy to agree on a theme. But if there's one thing everybody can agree on, it's that Anchorman is a classic of American cinema. So the San Antonio Spurs teammates decided to have a viewing party, and act along with the film. In a great video interview with Spurs.com (which is absolutely worth four and a half minutes of your day to watch and you should do so right now), Captain Jack recounts his starring role as Ron Burgundy. He even played the jazz-flute solo, if he is to be believed. "I co-wrote 'Afternoon Delight,'" he says at one point. "I don't know if you knew that."
It's difficult to fathom just how awesome it must have been to be a guest at this party. Any excuse to watch Anchorman again is worth taking, but watching it with Matt Bonner and Stephen Jackson and acting out the parts? That must be heaven.
