Interesting note from the recap of Cavs-Spurs...

"The Spurs are the only active NBA franchise that has an all-time .500 winning percentage or better against every other NBA team, courtesy of a Spurs' win over the Lakers in January."

Add to that having had their 14th straight 50 win season and after clinching their 16th straight playoff berth, no wonder the Spurs organization is constantly voted one of the best franchises in all of sports. Congrats to the Silver and Black --- Go Spurs!!

There have been a couple of lockouts. It should be a percentage-based stat to hold any weight.

An other way to say it: the Spurs didn't loose more than 32 games in a season since 1996–97.

With or without an asterisk?? (The little guy on my shoulder made me ask that) :D

Or put another way, if you merely add the playoff games of the 1999 playoffs and total them, the Spurs played far less than 80 games yet won 55. in fact they had a better record than last year's 66 game season. I think their regular season was 38 & 12 no?

Yeah, I agree -- the fact that we won 50 in a 66-win season should count for more as well.

Well true still made it last year even with 66 games. What did they win in 99' like 37 out of 50??
