It's so hard not to be frustrated, but remember....
The Spurs can win it all this year. I truly believe that they can beat OKC, MIA, LAC, MEM, DEN, IND or anyone else that could possibly stand in their way. They have the tools, talent, coaching and players to make this work. I'm so mad right now because of the dreadful game that they played last night. So what I did was watch the past championship DVD's...lol. It reminded me of coach Pop's philosophy of making it a marathon, not a race. Keep pounding the rock and it will eventually crack. Trust the system, play solid defense, move the ball, etc. This is stuff that seems so simple, but at the same time fundamentally sound. I have a ton of faith in this team and I'd love to see one more championship for TD and company. Keep the faith Spurs fans! It's only one game :wink
Last night was another one of those collective mindsets by the team, that hey all we have to do is show up and we can beat these guys...WRONG
Sometimes they just take their foot off the throat of the other guys and get complacent and lazy and as a fan it is frustrating to watch, they should have blown both the blazers and the timberpups out of the gym....
Where's Mario Ellie when you need him?
Teams always say that having the #1 seed is important but not as much as health. But the Spurs are the only team that have honestly run their team that way. This loss doesn't damage my faith in the team, but I certainly see how it can be frustrating with all the success we have had this season.
But I can also see that if the spurs are completely healthy going into the playoffs, there is no team that I like to beat us in a 7 game series, period. GO SPURS GO!!
