Warriors were hoping for Dajuan Blair Buyout Warriors Standing Pat for Now - Inside the Warriors - with Marcus Thompson 1. The buyout/waiver market did not produce the options the Warriors had hoped. The Warriors are left weighing their options between the likes of Hakeem Warrick, Omri Caspi and Chris Douglas-Roberts. No DaJuan Blair buyout. No Timofey Mozgov buyout. No one who makes the Warriors want to act now. Certainly, there are a few players out there the Warriors like a little. But no one they’re going to jump at the chance to nab. 2. The Warriors are giving Mark Jackson veto power. Since it’s late in the season and whoever comes would be an adjustment, they’re only going to add a player with his approval. And Jackson, who is big on chemistry, hasn’t been too keen on the options he has been presented with. |
They could have had him for a 2d round pick, I suspect. |

there was talk from Blair's side, but the Spurs paid little to no attention to it |
To DaJuan's credit, he's been a good soldier throughout all this. He must know that being stuck at the end of the Spur bench is costing him future money on FA market, but he hasn't *****ed about it in public, and he's been making the most of his recent game minutes. Can't imagine that he'll be here after this year, but I can only hope that he gets a serious contract from someone and gets to show off what he can do in a more hospitable situation. |
