Wade tries to nickname himself “WOW.” LeBron not impressed.

You can’t nickname yourself. Only Kobe Bryant did it and frankly that should not be allowed to stand, it’s just too late to stop it.

Now Dwyane Wade is trying to go that route, and LeBron James is none to impressed, reports Ethan Skolnick at the Palm Beach Post.

“It’s ‘WOW,’ Way of Wade,” James said, referring to the slogan for Wade’s Li-Ning shoes. “I think it’s corny.”

For a long time Wade was “Flash” but that stopped a couple years ago because, well, he’s not that flash anymore. He picks his spots.

And Wade loves his new nickname.

“I’m taking it global!” he shouted.

Hehe he hasn't liked much of what I have posted recently but I did see him advocate keeping Splitter over someone so he may be changing.

I love TD but it's not a rule I made up or I can change..... but let me qualify:
- As far as I know Merlin is a name he had from his geek game days and he is reusing..... which is ok

- But if he turned to all his mates and said "Merlin is here! Pass it to Merlin! Merlin likes his donuts hot!" and then said call me that I don't agree with it.
