None of my media contacts (and i have several) in that part of the state had heard anything about a death in his immediate family. If that is indeed the case that is indeed sad, it's tough when you lose a loved one. It is beginning to seem more like a serious illness in the family than a death.

From the Express-News - On Tuesday morning, Jackson posted to his Instragram account the following: “Losing a child is the worst thing u can deal with.” Yes it is, prayers go out to the family

Oh man, hope its not true but immediate family member or not, loosing a child in a family is tragic. Jackson is a very emotional person. This is not the kind of thing anyone recovers from in a few days or weeks so, I'd hope The Spurs Org. has someone checking on him. Everyone deal with grief differently. My condolences to the family. On a the Business side of things, wonder if the Spurs were thinking of trading Jackson, before this tragedy. Sadly true. But I am so Glad Cap'n Jack is doing good coping with this. Time is the best healing medicine. Someone said this to me long time ago: "We can get used to everything... even pain!" Just like his fingers are sort a bothering him a bit in shooting, he will find a way to cope with this!

Steven Jackson is on the team for the playoffs. He will be ready just in case everyone else's nuts shrink up inside their bodies again. He can play good D in the playoffs as well. He's like Mario Elie.
