Did you want out of Milwaukee?: “I was ready to go, but I wasn’t. It was a situation that I wasn’t playing. I was hurt. The Bucks were making a push to get the seventh or eighth seed, so I knew they were probably going to make a move. I was told that obviously I might be packaged with (Stephen) Jackson. They were trying to make a Jackson deal. That’s just the way it is. If I was John Hammond, I probably would have done the same thing. … I wasn’t stomping my feet to get traded. Misleading (or incorrect) thread title. He actually WAS packaged in a trade with Stephen Jackson. There's no ALMOST about it. He was traded to Golden State WITH Jack in the deal that landed Ellis in Milwaukee. Then Golden State traded Jack to San Antonio a day or two later for RJ and a pick.
