Official 76ers at Spurs Game Thread (7:30)
- This is the first meeting of the season between the 76ers and Spurs. San Antonio has won 24 of its last 25 home games against Philadelphia, including the last eight in a row. The lone victory for the 76ers over this span came on January 3, 2004.
- The Spurs are coming off a 17-point road loss to the Knicks on Thursday. No Spur had more than 12 points in that game. The last time that happened for San Antonio was November 7 in a loss to the Clippers, when Danny Green led the club with 12 points.
- Tim Duncan has had at least two blocked shots in nine straight games. Entering this weekend, that streak was tied (with Dwight Howard) for the third-longest active streak in the league.
- The Spurs are 9-4 with Tiago Splitter in the starting lineup this season. He is averaging 9.9 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 55.4 percent in those contests.

Tony said to the media after shoot around today that Pop had showed them the tape from the NY and Spurs players realized how they played poorly due to fatigue and made so many errors (besides TP giving credit to Knicks D).Watch that video from the link here: http://www.nba.com/spurs/video/2013/...kermov-2346268
