The Spurs have re-assigned rookie point guard Nando De Colo to the NBA Developmental League’s Austin Toros for the second time this season, the team announced Friday.
De Colo is averaging 3.9 points, 1.7 assists and 1.7 rebounds in 30 appearances. The French rookie has played a total of 30 minutes over the past five games. He scored nine points in Thursday’s loss at New York.
De Colo amassed 14 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals in his only previous appearance with the Toros, a 97-82 victory over Idaho on Dec. 2.
He joins Spurs teammate Cory Joseph, who is averaging 18.2 points, 5.9 rebounds and 5.0 assists in nine games with the Toros.
