Dr. David Schmidt, team physician for the San Antonio Spurs, and Spurs legend David Robinson have one thing in common -- they view Dr. Schmidt's son, LCPL. Benjamin Schmidt, as a true hero.

Benjamin Schmidt enlisted in the Marines and gave his life for his country. He didn't just make a difference for his country in battle, but also left his mark in this country to help students achieve a greater education.
