Quote of the Day: Kobe is looking for a new Lakers opponent

—Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, talking about his team’s struggles as they head to Washington to take on the lowly Wizards on Friday night.

Of course, those lowly Wizards beat the Heat recently and will put up a fight in this game, and the Lakers haven’t shown much fight as a team lately. So Kobe may be on the right track here.

My advice to Kobe, don’t go looking for more trouble and criticism. The Generals may look like a bunch of buffoons, but they have played together as a team for many years and they’re paid to play that way because the Harlem Globetrotters are the star attraction. Of course, the Generals would probably fall down for you and the Lakers if you paid them to, but in a one on one game, I’d pay money to watch them kick your butt out of Staples.
