Joe Crawford is at it again! How is that a block!? Joey Crawford’s Dance Dance Revolution LINK to Spurs Nation Joey Crawford’s love for the spotlight needs no explanation around these parts. (Although, as Grantland’s Zach Lowe recently discovered, Tim Duncan’s favorite referee does not have it in for the Spurs.) So his flamboyant prance of a blocking call late in last night’s Lakers-Pacers game should come as no surprise. Never mind the merit of the call. Check out the sheer, Gangnam Style exuberance in which Crawford made it. A few more like that and Joey might earn himself a spot on Dancing With the Stars — which, of course, he would accept in a heartbeat. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/A-NGWjuD108" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=A-NGWjuD108 That is Joe Crawford for ya!!! facepalm |
The late baseball umpire Ron Luciano used to be as flamboyant as they come and his antics used to really brightened up an otherwise dull game. But Joey Crawford's hopping downcourt doesn't do it for me since his bench tech against TD. In my mind, he has lost his luster regardless of his bald head. baseball umpire ron luciano - Bing Images |
Joe Crawford will stay as long as David Stern is... Just my guess! Our Spurs will just have to learn to live with this character and win DESPITE Joe and his abuse of power. My suggestion to the Spurs is to play solid and not to leave important games go down to the wire to make it such a questionable call. |
Since it was against LA,....it looks like a good call to me. |
