San Antonio Spurs' Tony Parker set the bar high with his season last year. He led the Spurs to the best record in the NBA and got some well-deserved recognition as a potential MVP candidate. Even if he didn’t really have a shot at the award, it was still an impressive showing. This year has been a lot more up and down. Parker has had a few games where he’s been almost a non-factor, scoring only a few points and dishing out a handful of assists. The Spurs are going to need TP to get back on track, especially with all the injuries lately. Maybe the game against Boston was a sign of things to come. Parker scored 26 points, shooting 12 of 17 from the field and added 6 assists. He controlled the game on both sides of the floor, earning some high words of praise from Coach Popovich. |
