Same Problem....Different Solution? The Wiz seemed to be able to score at will in the first half and the beginning of the 2nd half. It appeared the Spurs' camp strategy of shoring up defense was a grand debacle. Blair, Bonner and even Diaw seemed ineffective in stopping them. Duncan had already maxed out his minutes, so Pop used a lineup of Splitter, Bonner, Jackson, Leonard and a point guard. It seemed to work but I doubt that they intend to depend on that for an entire season. |
As long as Blair plays our defense will suck. |
Any lineup without Blair has a chance to be good defensively. |
Harden being traded helps the spurs IMO. Kevin Martin is on an expiring contract who OKC will be unlikely to match what he'll desire. Ads to the fact that he's averages missin 27 games a year due to his injuries throughout his career. Chemistry will affected in OKC and now will need to play catch up on the fly. Watch all the bandwagon Laker fans come out and declar they're favorites to win the west now haha. Whether it be under the radar or whatever, we are at the top! |
The D should be good till the playoffs. |
