Not really all that surprised about Powell, even though he's a hustler he's still only 6'9" and we have more than enough undersized 'bigs' on the roster.

Joseph must have shown significant improvement, I get the feeling he's one of those the Spurs FO thinks is part of the next generation of Spurs.

Leonard, well we know that he's part of the future....

They probably should have kept Derrick Brown if that were gonna do this?

Maybe the Spurs must have just seen someone waived that they may want to pick up?

Sad reality as it maybe , but is this team worse off without curry brown or Powell?

We may have won a game or two more ; but not a series !

Also I wonder, if we keep Cory Jospeh on the bench through out the season?

I don't know how good any of them are. Maybe they were seeing if they could find an upgrade over Blair and Bonner. But none of them were good enough to make the Spurs eat a contract.

Olympiacos announced the signing of Josh Powell for the season. The player will replace Joey Dorsey. Powell, who won the NBA with the Lakers, was recently cut by the Spurs at the training camp.
