Spurs waive JaMychal Green, Wesley Witherspoon

The San Antonio Spurs just announced that they have waived forwards JaMychal Green and Wesley Witherspoon.

We told you about the Spurs signing Green on Tuesday and Witherspoon recently talked about wanting to start his NBA career in San Antonio. Unfortunately for both players, they stint with the Spurs ends today.

I find it interesting that there is no announcement for any kind of contract for Powell.

I forget . . . does this mean we can assign them to Austin without other teams jumping in to sign them or what?

14 by my count. In the post game interview, Pop said he will assess the team progress for 2 weeks. So I don't anticipate any personnel change until, at least, mid November.....if there is to be any at all.

I wanna say it was a day before since I think the last day was the 30th. Not sure though.
