ESPN.com and the TrueHoop Network are ranking every NBA player -- and counting them down on Twitter (@NBAonESPN), from No. 500 to No. 1.

Here are the Spurs' rankings:

Whoever ranked Tiago Splitter above Danny Green, Stephen Jackson, Boris Diaw and DuJuan Blair must have been smoking a little somethin' somethin'.

Looks like the Spurs' big three are all ranked in the top 40 of the league.

And for the Tiago haters out there, his ranking shows that when you take the emotion out of it, most people who watch the NBA say the Spurs have a pretty good center with a good overall game and a whole lot more upside than either Diaw or Blair.

I guess Pop was a little too emotional then, last time he benched him in the playoffs. :shocked

Benching him in the playoffs because he wasn't performing is one thing, and in reality Pop is known for being emotional. If a player gets in his doghouse, he's in the doghouse big time and it's hard for them to get out of it.

And in this particular case, I'm talking about the 'Splitter Is A Bust' crowd on this forum.

I think he was too emotional, and that was a mistake.

I think Pop went away from our game plan which is depth and teamwork and let Manu, Duncan and Tony turn things into a one on one type game.

No f'ing chance. Especially considering how one dimensional he is as a player it's not even funny.

To me its not even close. Griffin main skill is his athletic ability. He dosent have any post move or range. Once he develops that, he can be really special, but not right now. Duncan outplayed him on the playoffs last year, and we are talking of 36 year old duncan.

to Blake's credit, he was extremely hobbled with knee injuries from the previous series. we were supposedly 10 deep last year while the Clippers really only had a one kneed Griffin and Chris Paul with Caron Butler hurt too. we easily had the better team to disguise Duncan's inabilities and force Griffin to beat us while hurt.
