Bleacher Report Predicts Spurs will wind up with Blatche

Is any team willing to give Blatche a shot?

He has proven to be a talent over his NBA career, but he may need some time to mature in the D League before he sports an NBA jersey again.

According to the Washington Post, Blatche would be open to playing in the D League:

My dream destination right now would be back on the court. For real. Just to get back on the court,” Blatche told the newspaper. “It’s something I love to do. It doesn’t matter if it’s the Heat or the Spurs or the D League. Whatever. As long as I’m back on the court playing ball.

ESPN's Mark Stein tweeted a report earlier this month saying that the Spurs and Heat were indeed interested in Blatche:

While the Heat would welcome Blatche's talents for a discoutned price, the Spurs would be a better fit. Gregg Popovich is a no nonsense head coach, and Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili would provide the once disgruntled center with invaluable knowledge on how to be a pro in the NBA.

Yeah. I take a flyer on him, but if bleacher report is projecting that it will happen, I'm ready to put up money that it won't.

they still would need to move Bonner or someone else with the luxury tax lurking in the shadows if they signed him up.

Maybe ship Blair for a late 2nd rounder?

Does he come to start or keep warm on the bench?

Regardless of what he says about just 'wanting to play' he's not going anywhere for the vet min, because I have to believe that if he was willing to, he'd have already signed somewhere, unless this kid is so toxic that absolutely nobody wants to touch him. And really given his past can you see him wanting to come play in SA? I can't, not enough bright lights and late nights.....
