How many under contract officially?

Does anyone know officially if the Spurs have 15 players with guaranteed contracts, the NBA limit, or less than 15?

15 if my list is ok, and I'm not sure if Blair and Byars are fully guaranteed, I don't think so but...

DeJuan Blair
Matt Bonner
Derrick Byars
Nando De Colo
Boris Diaw
Tim Duncan
Manu Ginobili
Danny Green
Stephen Jackson
Cory Joseph
Kawhi Leonard
Patty Mills
Gary Neal
Tony Parker
Tiago Splitter

Hmm.. Interesting timing.. Suddenly a roster spot has opened up...

Something is about to go down...

That's all I'm sayin'.

If we don't sign a seven footer to help counter Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol, this season is toast!

no idea why i'm a little more optimistic about going against the Lakers now than when Bynum was with them. the great thing is that Howard doesn't have Bynum's game of backing down and shooting over guys. Howard has to move his feet and doesn't have a touch.

may sound crazy but i like how Blair has played him in the past.

Howard is like Ibaka on steroids. This is worse.

Dwight IMO is not as scary as bynum, bynum kicks your butt pounds it inside and when he puts his mind to it relentless on the boards, I used to always get mad cause he we just keep getting offensive boards over our guys all the time if his own misses, D. Howard is a little different not as physical IMO

I sure hope so... Otherwise if I was Tim, I'd be pissed. We have absolutely wasted the past two great regular season runs because we desperately needed a big and solid bench scoring.

I don't get the sense that anything is up. It frees up Byars to search for a situation where he can actually play before the season starts and it frees up a roster spot for the Spurs just in case they eventually do find someone they can use.
