Derrick Williams Is it feasible to imagine that Minnesota would be willing to trade Derrick Williams? Based on this little article that I read. And that they would have interest, and/or roster space for Blair, Bonner, and Neil. Maybe Blair and Neal would be interesting enough to add Bonner. I would love that trade as a spurs fan. |
I am up for that trade as well, I think he has the upside everyone here is searching for without being a headcase.... only thing is I can't see Blair getting the better minutes he wants there, he would still be behind 2 or 3 for minutes. But if you can do blair and Bonner Will would never say a bad thing about Spurs front office again..... |
I dont think they would trade him but if they wanted to I would switch Neil with Joseph or a 1st because Neil is not a guy Spurs want to lose. Plus the Spurs would need to find another big man for what they lost. Williams would be very nice to have against a guy like Durant. |
Why would you want this trade? Do we still so often forget about the brilliance of Kawhi Leonard....call me biased, call me a homer but Leonard > D. Williams any day of the week!He can't play PF (he's just too small) he would be our SF, but we don't need help in that department......well, now thinking about it, I don't think it would be a bad trade if we could shed Blair for D. Williams but I seriously doubt the Wolves are giving up thier #2 draft pick for some peeps like G. Neal and Blair/Bonner....just don't see it happening....pipe dream. But, we can always dream, right :shrug |

but you are probably right about the Pipe Dream part. |

I think your right on now. The team needs a player like Williams now and it will take those players and a pick or 2 to get him. I think its what they could do if not Williams a player like him. |
And with both Alexey Shved and Nikola Pekovic injuried after last nights (17Jan) loss to LA Clippers, the Wolves may be open to anything to just get bodies into uniforms. |
