The San Antonio Spurs guard corp got a little lighter as reports have surfaced that Marcus Denmon (drafted 59th in the 2012 NBA Draft) has agreed to play overseas in France. According to French site Sports.fr, Denmon has signed to play with ES Chalon-Sur-Saone in France. "I am very happy to come to Chalon. This is a great opportunity for me to move from my university to the highest European level, namely the Euroleague. Exactly. This was predictable. Go to summer league, learn what to work on, go to Europe. Hopefully it turns out better for him than James Gist. |

Denmon needs a lot more time to improve. So it's good for him and the Spurs. Roster has too many guards anyway.
