ORLANDO - 76ers shooting guard Xavier Silas left the second half of Friday's Orlando Summer League game with what appeared to be a head injury after he collided with several players and fell into a row of chairs that were courtside.
Speculation during and following the game was that Silas suffered a skull fracture, but a member of the 76ers public relations staff said the team would not comment on the injury and would release a statement if more information was divulged.
Silas was taken to an Orlando hospital.
Silas, 24, signed with the Sixers during the preseason last year, was waived and then rejoined the team to finish the 2011-12 campaign.
