New Magic GM is a pick off the Spurs tree

Orlando Magic hire Thunder assistant GM Rob Hennigan as new GM - CBSSports.com

"Before joining the Thunder, Hennigan worked for the Spurs for five years, beginning as an intern and rising through the ranks."

Man the Spurs are good at producing NBA executives.....

When the Spurs are continually rated the top sports organization around, all the NBA teams want some of that and will throw $$$$ at the Spurs executives in order to pry them loose. Wish there were some kind of clause in the league where the Spurs can be compensated for their losses. Almost seems we are the training ground for executive talent. Guess it's OKC's turn to feel the pain of losing a family member.

Basically the folks have worked for RC. Very few, if any, successes in the coaching ranks from those who have worked for Pop.
