Trust the Spurs to spark Internet memes the same way they light up opponents — quietly, methodically and under the radar.

Such shared online images usually mock more obvious targets like LeBron James and Kobe Bryant. Besides, it’s tough mining LOLs out of Tim Duncan’s signature stoicism or the rest of the Spurs’ even-keel demeanor, until recently considered by most NBA fans outside the Alamo City to be “boring.”
