Smith on Griffin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bpd3MbbZfrI Wade on Collison http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NN-JuUpDAXs Stern is a joke when comes to dishing out penalties. Last edited by GalloJD; 05-17-12 at 07:50 AM. |

Could even say that Wade on Collison is worse...because he got hit directly in the back. Add that at least Griffin had the ball - while Collison didn't - makes it a horrible foul...

IMO, the act was exactly the same. The actors were different which will likely play into the leagues decision not to suspend Wade. Let's face it, Smith is no Dwayne Wade from a "putting butts into seats" perspective. The right thing to do would be to suspend Wade for the same amount of time that Smith got, but I don't think it's going to happen........because it's the playoffs, it's a star player on the Miami Heat, and it's Dwayne Wade.

The difference is Collison popped right back up and got in Wade's face. Griffin laid on the floor crying and then got up like he had been hit by a truck. If he got hit in the back, why is he limping? If the league wants to stop flopping, stop rewarding it.
