The fans wanna see Steve Nash for the last time and the coach won't put him in I'm a spurs fan but I can see how the suns fans might be upset.

dont make it out to something its not. It was nothing personal, the final game of a disapointing season, he was probably emotionally spent. an emotinal day for him im sure...they couldnt even put away the spurs b squad! why would he want to be on the floor for that.

once he did go in, he made a stupid turnover. he was very emotional and the game didn't mean anything to anyone. Nash is hurting a little and he's spent after last night vs. the Jazz.

if anything, Gentry showed him proper respect to put him in there for a curtain call. no one booed, everyone cheered. i agree with FF, the curtain call was the respect factor. if he didn't put him in at all, then this topic would make sense.

Yeah, there was no point running him into the ground to possibly lose the game anyway. I think he did it just right. You kind of WANT the fans to have to chant to get him in. That's a lot more powerful a moment than just sticking him in while nobody's watching.
