Has Anyone Else Noticed?

How almost all the other teams in the West (haven't checked the East) have played more games than us so far? I noticed this about 2 weeks ago but have just got around to posting it. We had all our extended rest (more than 1 day in between games) in the beginning and middle of season. The last 2+ weeks of our season is ridiculous how little rest we get compared to the other teams. For example, the Lakers have one more back to back left. Other than that they have at least one day off in between games and have 3 days off before their last game of the season (Everybody plays on the last night of regular season). Spurs have 3 back to backs plus a back to back to back!!! Just stupid if you ask me. I'm sure Pop noticed this the day the schedule was released and hates it, but he would never vocalize it to the media. No excuses, just crappy circumstances for us.

Here's the how many more games the other current playoff teams in the west have played than the Spurs as of tonight (meaning more rest for them at the end of the season when its the most important)

Ahhh gotta love this Ridiculous NBA Schedule...

That is why Pop and his staff are over occupied with managing the minutes more than match ups...

But then again this might be a BLESSING in disguise..... Maybe this is a better deal for Spurs than they thought.

This is how Champions will have to rise to the occasion.

If Spurs players are mentally tough they will keep their focus and never get victimized by this stupid ugly schedule...

The challenge here is to stay FOCUSED mentally and physically and know why they have played hard all this year and what are they coming into...

They just need to approach it ONE GAME AT A TIME!!!

Well one good thing is that we took care of business early on a got a comfortable lead on LA for that 2nd seed. We have 6 less losses than LA currenlty so even if we drop half our games from here on out (not going to happen anyways) we should be able to keep it.

I heard this announced a couple weeks back. SA and one other team (I forget who) had the most games left in the season. You know, it's just how things land, everyone had their murderous stretches, and if we can't play through it and come ready to rock in the playoffs, then we don't deserve any Larry O trophies.

Not much sense in complaining.
