Vince Carter used to be accustomed to the NBA highlights until he started getting injured and got older. Carter has not given up on trying though, this finger roll proves it perfectly. He was wide-open for what could have been his easiest basket this year and decided to get pretty and went for a finger roll. It touched nothing. The Mavs' owner Mark Cuban probably thought he was hallucinating after seeing this. Vince Carter was criticized throughout his career for not always giving his best effort and not having great will to win. This play can only hurt it a little more.
