I agree... Lets hope....scouting also says he has poor lateral movement...but maybe a 3 year outlook is that he does the same things as The Rocket he is cheaper and slightly younger .... who knows...but they do want him

Most everyone here is aware of him. Some are more optimistic than others. I don't see the Spurs franchise player, that's for sure.

Erazem has high bb IQ which Bonner don't have. He's also way better defender.

But I don't know how much he will want and how much we will offer.

Depends on How well Diaw Plays and What he does if he does play well....
I don't see him getting more than Tiago... especially with the New CBA...

So if they get him he is 4 years younger than Bonner... May do the same things as Bonner but better defensively... and he will be cheaper than Bonner... So when 2013 rolls around you have the option of Amnestying Bonner's partially guaranteed salary

and Maybe Tiago is still on the Roster and he has developed into a 15 and 8 30 minute a night player


and Corey Joseph is developed into a starting viable successor to Tony Parker...

Then all this speculation is just a Moot Point

count me in as one of the optimists. I think he will come over and have an immediate impact. He will be like Oberto X2 which to me means great role player.

My Euro league source tells me he is great, and he hasn't been wrong.

If adding him, and re-signing everyone else (including Diaw) is all we do in the off season, I will be satisfied.

Maybe adding Nando De Colo would be nice too.

I'd like to see him come in and replace bonner and then if diaw plays well trade blair and let diaw replace him. then that leaves us an opportunity to still go out and get a legit big.

Ok. Just watch the Olympics this summer and see how big those dreams about this Kidd, Ryan Richards, will get

He left because he wasn't gettin PT... He was in a league at the direction of The Spurs. I'm sure he told the spurs that the vets weren't giving him pt. It probably wasn't based on ability but the fact that he is an NBA draftee and they weren't... He also had the opportunity to play with the English National Team... and get ready for the Olympics...

Ryan Richards was playing in a Switzerland team. live in Europe and I've learnt that there was a basketball team in Switzerland after Richards goes there. I've lost my hopes on him after that.

Ok.. But I don't think the Spurs Have... Wait for the Olympics and reserve your judgment.. This is the same path that Ian went along... So I expect him to be assigned to the Torros this fall... have a Summer league after that and then we'll see what he is... He does work on his game a ton.

If you're asking about Lorbek, it depends to Diaw's situation. If Diaw fits to system and help us in play-offs, Lorbek may wait 1 more year. If Diaw can't help, Lorbek may get his chance.

92 minutes to distribute to biggs in every game and Richards is a native born Brit. Do you really think he'll get no Playing time? IF he does what a poor basketball decision and Page Ranking move to bench a native born Brit in favor of rented "ringers"...
