Amen to that and that's why the Spurs need to bring in sJax ---- we need some excitement, it doesn't matter that the Spurs have won 9 in a row, that Tony is putting up numbers far above the rookie in ny --- espn doesn't care about quality of play, they care about keeping the ny media market happy

And the real funny thing is that apparently if you live in NYC you can't even watch the Knicks on TV because of a contract dispute between the Garden and TWC.....

It's simple. There's just not enough time to do everybody justice, so they do what they know will sell ads. The big markets and the 1st team all-nbaers.

I'm just glad we have Sean Elliott on our broadcasts and don't have to listen to the national guys.

I doubt anybody will admit it based on the phrasing of the question.

But think about it . . . our free agent prospects were so dim that not only were we excited to get Ime, but we were excited at the possibility of overpaying to get him!

For me, it's the 99' season. Best defensive team I've ever seen. Like the 85' Bears. The Spurs D that year was ballin. Couldn't score on them. Plus it was our first ....nothing like that great feeling of our first!

If he sinks or swims........it was the Spurs FO's call not mine. 21.5 million was owed to RJ. The salaries are close but the Spurs save over 11 million not counting possible luxury tax implications. To me the Spurs already won.
